New GPX/TCX Export Option in All Microsoft Health GPS Activities

In addition to the new features rolling out today, Microsoft is also fulfilling another customer request in the Microsoft Health web dashboard that you’ll miss if you blink.

Now, in each activity that is tracked by GPS, there’s a new Export to GPX or TCX function at the top right.

This allows Microsoft Band users that use other services that don’t yet support the Microsoft Band, or support it poorly (*ahem* - Strava) to import Band-gathered data.

For those that don’t know, GPX is an xml file format that has been designed for saving GPS track, waypoint and route data. TCX format is also an xml format but was created by the GPS industry leader, Garmin, so that additional information could be contained in it – things like heart rate, cadence, and custom user information.
