New Evidence Suggests AMD was Right, Windows 10 to RTM in July

Are you ready for Windows 10? Some are. And, for those that aren't, it's looking more and more like Microsoft's Windows 8 apology could actually release in late July – so get ready.

Microsoft has continued to publicly promise a summer release for Windows 10 while many testers have wondered how the company could make the deadline with so many bugs still present in the beta builds. However, the last couple builds have shown a spit and polish with very few new features, showing that the OS could already be feature-complete and the software company is only working to make existing new features work.

Just last month, AMD's president and CEO, Lisa Su, outed Windows 10 RTM in an analyst call, saying…

And, new information has come to light, seemingly confirming the July date. The new information comes from Russian leaker WZor, who has a tendency to know such things. WZor has been wrong before, but not often.

Keep in mind, though, this is only for the PC/tablet version of Windows 10. The Windows 10 Mobile version is still very much a work in progress, bricking phones with each new code offering and forcing testers to roll back to a known working environment. And, while Xbox One will also receive its own Windows 10 refresh, that probably won't come until much later.
