Microsoft has posted a downloadable fix for a problem with the T-SQL debugger in Visual Studio 6.0, Enterprise Edition. Microsoft reports that the problem with the T-SQL debugging feature could cause a buffer overrun. And because the Debugger object's default installation lets anyone start the debugger and run it as the logged-on interactive user, a malicious user or intruder could potentially exploit the bug. For more information about the buffer overrun problem, see the Microsoft Security Bulletin at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-018.asp.To download the fix, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/downloads/debugging/default.asp.
