Q. I'm replicating to Azure from Hyper-V without using SCVMM and I do not see how to map networks between on-premises and Azure, how do I do this?

A. Hyper-V has no concept of logical networks, that is a concept enabled through SCVMM. When replicating to Azure directly from Hyper-V without SCVMM there is no mapping between on-premises networks to Azure virtual networks. Instead for each VM that is replicated, a target network in Azure is selected which is used in the event of an actual failover. More details on the Hyper-V to Azure replication without SCVMM can be found at http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/hyper-v-recovery-manager-hypervsite/.
