The biggest story of yesterday: Google's taking an even more active interest in your life. The company has introduced Goals into its Calendar service. The new feature works thusly: A user adds a personal goal to the calendar, and the Calendar finds the best windows of time for you to work toward that goal. The most notable thing about this new feature is that the Goals feature is going to deploy machine intelligence to learn from users' goal setting, their subsequent fulfillment of goals, and the rescheduling the time commitment Google Calendar found for the goals, then help users refine and execute on future goals.
