Fresh Ink: Insiders Can Now Use the Windows 10 Feature On More Apps

Good news, Windows Insiders! If you have any of the following devices and/or apps, you can experiment with increasing Ink capabilities:

  • Windows 10 desktop: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote

  • The iPad: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote

  • Android devices: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote

And as of next month, iPhone users with the same suite of apps will have Ink.

In addition, Excel on Windows PCs and iPads will get Shape Recognition, which takes your weirdly-outlined hand drawn shapes and turns them into more attractive finished shapes. This is great if you're planning on spec'ing out a dashboard or a flow chart.

And OneNote users on the Mac are getting trackpad-based Inking, as well as third-party support for styluses, tablets and digital pens.
