The short of it is that there are 12 bulletins, 9 of which will prompt a restart. 3 of these are rated Critical and 9 are rated Important. All of the critical vulnerabilities involve publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, one where exploit code is readily available.

The Feb 2011 Patch Tuesday bulletin has been released by Microsoft. The short of it is that there are 12 bulletins, 9 of which will prompt a restart. 3 of these are rated Critical and 9 are rated Important. All of the critical vulnerabilities involve publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, one where exploit code is readily available. Three of the bulletins rated important also involve publicly disclosed vulnerabilities. Two of the Critical vulnerabilities and five of the Important vulnerabilities apply to computers running Windows 7. One of the critical vulnerabilities is rated only Moderate for Windows Server 2008 R2, one is rated critical, four are rated important and another bulletin rated as important on other operating systems is classified as moderate.
