Core components in Nano server

Q. Does Nano Server still have core components such as event logs and performance counters?

A. Yes. While Nano Server is essentially headless most of the core components of the OS are still present including capabilities such as event logs and performance counters. You would view them remotely using management tools/PowerShell.
