Q: How do I force the Start Screen to always show on my main display in Windows 8.1?
A: Windows 8.1 allows the primary monitor to always be used to display the Start Screen. To make the change, perform the following:
Right-click the Task Bar and select Properties.
Select the Navigation tab.
Under the Start Screen area, check the option Always show Start on my main display when I press the Windows logo key.
Click OK.
