Speaker

Michael Morisy is a technology editor and reporter based in the Bay Area. He was previously an editor at the Boston Globe, where he launched the paper's technology-focused site, BetaBoston. He was a 2014-2015 John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, and is the founder of investigative news site MuckRock.

   

John Hampton is Director of worldwide commercial client business development for AMD. John leads global end-to-end commercial product strategy from product development and customer design-in, through launch, and P&L management. John has been integral in the development and launch of AMD PRO, the enterprise-class solutions AMD delivers to the commercial market. In September 2015 John led the launch of the first 6th generation mobile processor for commercial client, enabling exciting new enterprise form factors powered by AMD PRO. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and also completed the Business Foundations program during his time at UT.
