Jason Southern is a veteran of the Desktop and Application Virtualization industry, having first entered the sector in the late 90’s, after a decade in the Royal Navy. Jason has been a customer, a user, has spent nearly 10 years in a variety of roles at Citrix, followed by several years in strategic roles with ecosystem partners.

In 2013 Jason joined NVIDIA to bring his knowledge and experience to help build and develop the GRID solutions team for EMEA. As a Senior Solutions Architect for NVIDIA, Jason has defined many best practices for deploying GPU accelerated virtual workstations, including optimizing remoting protocols for the best user experience. He is a frequent speaker at technology events around the region and actively engages on social media.

Mark Ewert has been working with IT for more than 25 years, with more than a decade of hands-on experience with VMware technologies. Specializing in IT architecture on every scale, Mark has designed hundreds of successful solutions for organizations of all sizes and verticals. Since joining VMware in 2008, Mark co-authored the VMware vSphere, Horizon View and ThinApp Plan and Design Guides. Currently Mark is the Lead Technologist on VMware’s End User Computing Competitive Marketing Team.

Mark Evans is the Technical Marketing Engineer, HPE Converged Data Infrastructure. He has 24 years of experience in the IT industry. For past seven years, Mark has focused on providing Client Virtualization solutions to customers based on HPE Servers, Storage, and Networking platforms. He has consulted and designed Client Virtualization solutions based on all industry leading virtualization technologies.
