AMGEN Tour of California and Microsoft Band Follow-up

In mid-May, I reported on a partnership between Microsoft and AMGEN as part of an 8-day, 8-stage 782-mile race in the Amgen Tour of California. For the race, a team of 10 would utilize the Microsoft Band 2 to keep track of stats and use those stat to improve daily.

So, how did it go?

The team blogged about the experiences using the Microsoft Band 2 during both on road and off road, showing that even the details supplied for sleep monitoring were important for race performance. It’s an interesting read, particularly for hardcore bikers.
