A. I recently installed the Amazon add-on, which integrates Amazon.com with Internet Explorer. After I installed it, however, my Internet Explorer title changed to "Windows Internet Explorer provided by Amazon.com." To get rid of this, do the following:

  1. Start the registry editor (regedit.exe).

  2. Move to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain.

  3. Double-click the Windows Title value and set it to whatever you want, then and click OK.

  4. Close the registry editor.

Internet Explorer will show the new title when you restart.
