Windows Azure Active Directory for iPhone and iPad

For those iPhone and iPad users feeling very left out from being able to login to Windows Azure Active Directory directly, Microsoft has now released an app called "My Apps" through iTunes.

Up until now, business users would need to use the mobile Safari browser to access apps hosted in Windows Azure and need to manually log in to each service using Active Directory credentials every time access was required. The "My Apps" app eliminates the additional login requirements as it retains and stores login information.  The app allows business users to use their existing Active Directory credentials to access Windows Azure.

The app requires a valid Active Directory account and a Windows Azure subscription and, once installed, will most likely require a system administrator to set it up with the organization's specific settings.

The new app is available from iTunes here: My Apps – Windows Azure Active Directory
