When you access the Sharing tab of the Printer Properties dialog box in an Active Directory domain, you receive:

The Directory operation is still in progress.

The DNS server address in the TCP/IP settings of the computer is not set correctly or the DNS server is not set up correctly.

Adjust the DNS setting so that it points to a DNS server that contains a copy of the DNS zone for the Active Directory domain.
