Description: Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number from: with error: This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

Description: Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number from: with error: The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.

If the Update Root Certificates component is installed, and the computer cannot connect to the Windows Update site, you will receive these errors.
NOTE: The Update Root Certificates component automatically updates trusted root-certificate authorities from the Windows Update site at regular intervals.
Your computer must have access to the Internet or you must turn off the Update Root Certificates component:
1. Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs / Add/Remove Windows Components.
2. Clear the Update Root Certificates box and follow the on-screen instruction in the Windows Components Wizard.
NOTE: If you have a temporary connectivity problem, resolve it.
