Tip of the week: Learn to Use Windows 8 with a mouse and keyboard

I've been publishing a series of Tips articles for using Windows 8 on the PCs we already have. Surprise! It works great, especially if you know the secrets to mouse and keyboard usage.

Software pick of the week: Metro UI Tweaker

Metro UI Tweaker. Some silliness here, but the nice bit is that it lets you arbitrarily pin any app to the Windows 8 Start screen.

Enterprise pick of the week: Visual Studio 2012

More of a developer pick this week, but Visual Studio 2012 has a few new features worth noting, especially for HTML5 devs. Very tied into what's happening with Win 8.

Codename pick of the week: OfficeTalk

If you like Chatter and Yammer, you'll love OfficeTalk -- if and when MS ever gets it out of the  internal-use-only stage.
