WebTV Plus, the next-generation TV set-top box from the makers of WebTV,will miss the all-important Christmas season, the company said this week.WebTV Plus is designed to allow simultaneous TV viewing and Internet accessand the box was a big hit at Fall Comdex. The unit also supports fastermodems (the original version was limited to 28.8) and cable modems.

When they finally do go on sale, WebTV Plus units will cost about $300. They will be sold by Philips and Sony
