Ubi Interactive Turns the Kinect into Minority Report for Business But Without the Creepy Stuff

Ubi Interactive and Microsoft have worked to finalize a software solution that takes a Kinect, a projector, and a Windows PC and turns any surface into a touchscreen computing device. For $149, the Basic software supports a display size of 45 inches and a single touch point. If you want more touch points, better support, and a larger display size (100 inches max), you'll pay more. Ubi offers four software licensing options: Basic, Professional, Business, and Enterprise.

Setup is described as simple. Just connect a projector and a Kinect to a Windows 8 PC, execute the Ubi software, and then Ubi will automatically calibrate the environment.

Watch the video to get a full sense of how revolutionary this is and start dreaming about the potential for your business.
