Tip: NT/95 Internet Mail & News integration simplified

Yesterday's WinInfo included detailed instructions for using the same Microsoft Internet Mail & News profiles in both Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95. WinInfo subscriber Andrea Brajuka wrote in with an easier way, however:

Simply go to RegEdit, and export the whole

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet Mail and News]

branch to a MailNews.reg file. Launch this file from NT4.0 and that's it. This works under every Mail & News version. if you need the address book, then export the whole

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWAB]

branch.
