Test Live Migration using Microsoft’s Free iSCSI Target

If you’ve been interested in testing Hyper-V’s Live Migration but you don’t have a SAN well wait no more. Microsoft has released a free iSCSI Target software that allows a Windows Server 2008 R2 system to act like an iSCSI SAN. The Microsoft iSCSI Target software is fully supported with Hyper-V and it allows you to set up shared storage for multiple iSCSI clients – including multiple Hyper-V hosts.
