Sharp Electronics announced today that it will release a Windows CE-baseddevice by the end of the year. This device will feature a clam shell lid,making it similar to other CE devices currently on the market. The Sharpdevice, however, will use Windows CE 2.0, due this November.

Currently, Sharp makes the Zaurus and Wizard handheld devices, which arenot expected to be discontinued
