Q. Some Windows 7 drives are missing from Explorer. How can I get them back?

A. Windows 7 tries to give you a cleaner interface by hiding drives that are empty. If you prefer it not do this, change the setting:

  1. Select Folder Options from the Tools menu in Explorer. (Press Alt if the menu isn't shown.)

  2. Select the View tab.

  3. Clear the check box for Hide empty drives in the Computer folder and click OK.
