Windows Insider Program wants to hear from Windows 10 testers

Windows Insiders have already provided Microsoft with a nearly inconceivable amount of feedback since the program launched in October 2014. They are now asking for more feedback on how to improve the program in 2016.

Windows Insider Program wants to hear from Windows 10 testers

We have talked about Microsoft embracing the feedback economy as they develop Windows 10 and other apps/services.

The amount of feedback they have collected is nearly inconceivable when you look at the sheer numbers of it all. It even required Microsoft to build their own tools for accessing and interpreting that mountain of data.

The primary mechanism that has delivered all of this data to the Redmond company is the hugely successful Windows Insider Program and now they want to hear from that program's participants to learn how they can improve it beginning in 2016.

If you open the Insider Hub on Windows 10 you will see a new announcement from the Ring Master himself - Gabe Aul.

We are also always looking for ways to improve the Windows Insider Program. We get lots of great feedback from lots of you at various events, via Twitter, and in the Windows Feedback App that we use to help shape the direction of the Windows Insider Program.

We have lots of exciting plans for the Windows Insider Program in 2016 that we will share as we complete the work in future builds. From time to time a larger form survey helps us take all the feedback we have received and better prioritize this feedback against our plans with the opinions of all Windows Insiders around the world. We will also use this survey and future surveys, in this long form or in the product, to gauge how well we are doing with the Windows Insider Program.

To do this they have established a survey that is available in 20 languages and utilizes the survey company SurveyGizmo.com.

According to Gabe, the survey should only take 10 to 15 minutes, which is how long it took me to do it, and everyone who includes the email address associated with their Windows Insider account will be eligible to win a new Surface Book.

The links for the surveys are located at the bottom of Gabe's announcement post in the Insider Hub.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
