The New TechNet Evaluation Center Opens in Preparation for Windows 10

Sometime over the past few days, Microsoft has unveiled a new TechNet Evaluation Center. The new site sports a redesigned interface, new features, and a customizable personal experiences.

Citing it as "Customized. Connected. Cool." Microsoft is putting lipstick on a pig and hoping that the new look will help IT Pros will forget that TechNet Subscriptions ever existed.

Using personalized profiles with a Microsoft account, the new site seeks to make the daily lives of IT Pros better. It keeps track of participation in evaluations, virtual labs, Tech Journeys, community links, tools and tips, and saved resources.

The site is designed to work across different mobile form factors, including laptops, tablets, and phones.
