Q. How can I open a new Microsoft Edge window?
A. With Internet Explorer you could easily open a new instance of Internet Explorer by holding down Shift and clicking the IE icon. This does not work for Microsoft Edge. To open a new Microsoft Edge instance select your existing Microsoft Edge window and press Ctrl + N. Microsoft Edge runs as a Windows application (as opposed to a desktop application) and multi-window support was introduced fairly late for Windows applications for Windows 10. Over time I would expect easier ways to create new instances of Microsoft Edge as the multi-window support becomes more widely adopted.
