Free eBook: Introducing Windows 10 for IT Professionals

It’s hard ignore free, but even harder to disregard a free eBook about a free operating system from a qualified author like Ed Bott.

Microsoft Press today has announced a free eBook (in PDF format) that covers Windows 10 for IT Professionals. It’s not a huge tome, but a 184 page, 15-chapter overview of some of the key features of Windows 10 1511 that will be of interest to IT Pros looking to install and deploy Windows 10. There’s some good information contained in the book that you wouldn’t expect from an overview, but you do have to dig for the nuggets. It truly is an overview of the features, but does include plenty of screen captures so you know exactly what you’re looking at when you find it in the operating system.

One of the more useful nuggets in the book is how it details which features are available on which editions of Windows 10 (i.e., Enterprise, Education, etc.).

Mobi and ePub formats are promised.
