Adobe Issues Flash Warning, Patch Now

As it does each month, Adobe issues its product updates on the same day as Microsoft's usually big Patch Tuesday. For a company with a smaller number of products than Microsoft, Adobe still seems quite capable of producing a new patch or round of patches each month to fix a major security flaw.

This month, the most critical issue is, once again, Adobe Flash.

According to Adobe, the newly found Flash vulnerability allows hackers to steal cookies from the local computer, effectively giving them every bit of your web authentication credentials.

For Internet Explorer and Chrome, you'll be updated automatically. For Firefox users, you'll need to manage your patches manually.
