Altova Adds Web-based Training for XMLSpy and MapForce

Altova announced it is offering two new Web-based trainingclasses within its Altova Online Training program: Introduction to XMLSpy andMapForce Database Essentials. Both classes are presented in two-hour sessions.

 Introduction toXMLSpy provides an in-depth look into the features and capabilities of Altova sXML development environment. The class includes an overview of XMLSpy s userinterface; feature walkthroughs relating to XML, XML Schema, XSLT, and XPath;hands-on examples; and more.

 MapForce DatabaseEssentials focuses on using the Altova MapForce data integration and Webservices implementation tool to visually create and execute data mappingsbetween relational databases and XML files. In addition to helping participantsgain familiarity with the database features available within MapForce, thesession includes an exploration of the issues that arise in mapping betweenrelational structures and hierarchical XML Schema Definitions (XSDs). Attendeesalso learn how to establish database connections using the MapForce databaseconnection wizard, and dynamically generate XSDs based on existing databaseschemas.
