Sergey Vlasov, a creator of software development solutions, has released Tabs Studio v. 2.3, the latest version of Vlasov's add-in that makes it easier for developers to manage tabs in Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
Tabs Studio lets you group document tabs intelligently and makes document tabs more visible by creating multiple rows of tabs. You can immediately switch between numerous open tabs using a single mouse click or keyboard shortcuts.
Tabs Studio uses regular expressions to give a developer control over title-based and path-based grouping of tabs. For example, you can keep your h/cpp, xaml/xaml.cs, and aspx/aspx.vb file pairs in the same tab, which makes locating the files easier. You can easily remove the path from a tab name and color-code tabs meaningfully. Additionally, instead of displaying tabs in multiple rows, you can show them vertically in a separate tool window. Various options are provided to let you customize the look and organization of your tabs.
Tabs Studio v. 2.3 runs under Windows 7/Vista/XP, and works with Visual Studio 2010/2008/2005 and SQL Server Management Studio 2008/2005. A single-user license costs $39, and multi-user discounts are available. You can find more information about the product on the Tabs Studio website.
