SmartBear Acquires AlertSite, Adding Cloud-Based Performance Monitoring to Its Lineup

SmartBear Software, a provider of application performance management, testing, and QA tools for software development, has acquired AlertSite, a provider of cloud-based web and mobile performance management solutions. The addition of AlertSite will expand SmartBear's cloud and mobile tools to cover the entire software development life cycle and adds performance-monitoring capabilities to SmartBear's development and testing toolset.

AlertSite is known for its flagship product, DÉjÀClick, a web performance monitor that measures a user's end-to-end website and mobile experience, to help companies to speed up and optimize web and mobile solutions.
