MicroOLAP announced the release of version 2.3 of theirPacket Sniffer SDK for Windows. Packet Sniffer SDK is a library set for packetcapture and network analysis for all Win32 platforms. It allows developers tocapture the whole traffic in 1 Gigabit networks without preinstalled packetcapture drivers, and is compatible with any application created in Visual Basic,VB.NET, Visual C++, Visual C#, Delphi/C++Builder, and others.

 Packet Sniffer SDKhas been used in advanced and heavy work loaded applications that require anexceptional performance, where the loss of networking packets is unacceptable,such as hardware monitoring applications, IP telephony, Intrusion DetectionSystems, and others.

 With the releaseof version 2.3, Packet Sniffer SDK offers new components for assembling TCPsessions and monitoring local traffic. In addition, two mechanisms forincreasing the packet s capturing performance were implemented in this release:the asynchronous packets queue and FastBPF technology.
