A. The additional phases available in OSD deployments (e.g., post-installation and system restore phases) can use additional files, such as scripts, whose location you must give when you configure an action. When configured, these specified files are copied to the source of the OS storage, and when the distribution points are updated the new files are copied to the distribution points. A common question is, when the actions are actually performed, which copy of the additional files (i.e., the original file or the versions stored on the distribution points) does the process use. As with regular SMS functionality, the files used are from the distribution point. Therefore it's important that whenever a change is made to a file or a new action is added that distribution points are updated with the change.
