A. Microsoft has a new, complete Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) solution that's part of the System Center suite of products. However, as an intermediary step, you can download VMRCplus from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=80ADC08C-BFC6-4C3A-B4F1-772F550AE791&displaylang=en. This solution is a good application-based interface for managing your virtual machines (VMs) and is available in both 32 and 64-bit flavors.

Once it's installed, you can select a virtual server to connect to, and the system will display a summary of the system. When you select a host, its details appear on the right side of the screen. At the bottom appears a general display of the state of the virtual server. You perform all actions from VMRCplus, including creating new VMs, configuring disks, and managing networks. The tool is certainly worth a download if you're not quite at the System Center VMM level.
