JSI Tip 8227. The Minimum allowed value on the Virtual Memory page of Windows Server 2003 is incorrect?

When you view the Virtual Memory page (Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance Settings / Advanced / Change) the Minimum allowed value is displayed as 2 MB.

If you try to set the paging file to any size between 2 MB and 16 MB, Windows Server 2003 will calculate a paging file size, because the actual minimum paging file size in Windows Server 2003 is 16 MB.

The incorrect information display will likely be fixed in a future service pack.
