A. For most folders, you can select the Customize this folder option from the View menu. However, you don’t have this option for the system folders.
The system folders already have hidden desktop.ini files, but you can replace them with another desktop.ini file as follows:
Create a new blank folder.
From the View menu, select Customize this folder.
Set your required preferences.
Copy the desktop.ini file from the new folder to the winnt and /winnt/system32folders (click Yes to overwrite the existing file).
After you complete the above steps, you don’t need to click Show files every timeyou access the folder.
