A. To configure a background for Windows Explorer toolbars, perform the following steps:

  1. Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).

  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerToolbar.

  3. From the Edit menu, select New - String Value.

  4. Enter a name of BackBitmapShell, and press Enter.

  5. Double-click the new value, set it to the name and location of the bitmap file you want to use for your background (e.g., c:windowszapotec.bmp), and click OK.

  6. Close the registry editor.
