A. By default, when you hover over a file or folder in single-click view mode, the object will change color to a light blue (RGB value 100 139 203). To change the color, perform the following steps:

  1. Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).

  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelColors.

  3. Double-click HotTrackingColor.

  4. Change to the desired RGB value (e.g., 255 0 0 for red), and click OK.

  5. Close the registry editor.

  6. Log off and log on again for the change to take effect.
