A: With the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) cmdlet Get-SCIPAddress, only IP addresses that have been allocated are shown in the output, but the state can show as Assigned or UnAssigned.
UnAssigned means the IP address has been allocated but is no longer within the management realm of System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). This could happen if a virtual machine (VM) was created, allocated an IP address, then the host running the VM was removed from SCVMM.
