Karamasoft Releases UltimateSpell 2.0 for ASP.NET

Karamasoft announced UltimateSpell 2.0, an ASP.NET servercontrol that provides spell checking functionality in your Web and WindowsForms applications. In ASP.NET applications, simply drag-and-drop the controlonto your page and it automatically finds and spell checks all editablecontrols without any client-side or server-side coding.

There are 34dictionaries available on the Karamasoft Web site. You can also use your owndictionary, as well as add words to your custom dictionary during spellchecking. Both regular dictionaries and custom dictionaries are automaticallycached in memory for fast processing.

UltimateSpellprovides options to change the behavior of the spell checking engine. You canchange these options either on the server-side or the client-side inside thespell check dialog box at run time. You can display different wordings in the spellcheck dialog box based on your language.

UltimateSpellsends small blocks of text to the server using AJAXtechniques without refreshing the page. This approach allows you to spell checkextensive text without compromising on speed. You can also highlight a piece oftext and spell check only the selected area.

UltimateSpell hasbuilt-in integration with UltimateEditor (an ASP.NET HTML editor) andUltimateSearch (an ASP.NET search component). However, you can do your ownintegration by using the spell checking engine in Web, Web service, or WindowsForms .NET applications. It comes with sample Web and Windows Formsapplications in C# and VB for .NET 1.x and .NET 2.0.

Licensed UISuitecustomers can download the UltimateSpell control for free. Others can downloada fully functional trial version at http://www.karamasoft.com/UltimateSpell/Download.aspx.
