Infragistics Releases NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume 2

Infragistics announced NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume2, a comprehensive user interface toolset for ASP.NET and Windows Formsdevelopment with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2003, and 2002. NetAdvantage for.NET 2006 Volume 2 includes grids, charting, scheduling, navigation, editors,and more, in ASP.NET and Windows Forms toolsets. Key features includeApplication Styling for Windows Forms; AJAXsupport additions to ASP.NET tools; and many new chart types and chartingfeatures for Windows Forms and ASP.NET.

 NetAdvantageApplication Styling delivers Design Once, Style Everywhere technology forWindows Forms through a complete styling and visual design tool. Developers anddesigners can now set the look and feel of applications at run time with anXML-based style library file. Style libraries also provide shared, reusableresources that can be applied effortlessly across multiple Infragisticscontrols in an application, or multiple applications using Infragistics WindowsForms controls.

 The ApplicationStyling Framework (ASF) built in to NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume 2 allowsa designer or developer to update the look and feel of an application withoutsource code changes, recompiles, or redeployments, boosting developmentproductivity and reducing time to market. NetAdvantage for .NET also ships witha set of predefined style libraries and the standalone NetAdvantage AppStylistvisual design tool, which works outside the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.

 NetAdvantage for .NETalso features other improvements. AJAXcapabilities have been extended, allowing for smooth asynchronous behaviorwithout client-side JavaScript code. The WebGrid, WebCombo, WebTree, WebTab,and WebSchedule controls are now fully AJAX-enabled, simply by setting a fewproperties. AJAX technology inInfragistics ASP.NET components reduces postbacks and improves applicationperformance.

 InfragisticsNetAdvantage for .NET provides more than 50 chart types. All charts are writtenin 100% managed code and now include anti-collision labels, smart tick marks,and five new chart types.
