A. Once your KMS is configured, you can configure DNS so clients can automatically locate the KMS. Add the following record to your DNS if you haven’t configured automatic DNS configuration for your KMS:

  • Service _VLMCS

  • Protocol _TCP.

  • Port 1688

  • The host that has the KMS service
