Thanks to James Morris for the tip: Microsoft has temporarily removed Service Release 2 for Office 97 from its Web sites so that it can fix a problem with it not installing correctly in some instances. An updatedversion will be made available as soon as Microsoft can test it thoroughly.

If you've already downloaded and successfully installed the SR-2 patch, fear not: You won't need to download and reinstall the new version of SR-2
