You will receive the subject message if the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) is enabled on the remote computer.

To workaround this behavior, use any of the following:

  • Run Delprof.exe locally on the Windows XP computer.

  • Temporarily turn off ICF on the remote Windows XP computer.

To turn off ICF:

1. Double-click Network Connections in Control Panel.

2. Right-click the connection that has the firewall enabled and press Properties.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

]4. Clear the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet box.

5. Press OK.
