If you configure an Active Directory integrated zone, all the domain controllers that are running DNS are authoritative for the zone.

When you add a new Active Directory integrated zone, replication is triggered toupdate the @ object.

If you add a WINS record on a domain controller, and this domain controller receives a replication object with a higher update sequence number than the @ object, the WINS record is discarded, because Active Directory user the 'last writer wins' algorithm during replication.

To workaround this feature, wait until all zones are replicated, to all domain controllers, before adding a WINS record.
