Xbox One to Start at Just $329 on Black Friday Weekend

While Microsoft has spent much of the past year effectively lowering the price of the Xbox One, it's about to get even less expensive: On Black Friday weekend (November 27-29) and Cyber Monday (December 1, online only), you will be able to purchase the base version of the console with two games for just $329. And there are many other deals to be had.

Here's what Microsoft is offering.

All Xbox One consoles and bundles will be $70 off. A wide range of participating retailers will offer standalone Xbox One consoles and Xbox One bundles (Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle and Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle) for $70 off the normal pricing.

Xbox Live and digital game and video deals, including 40 percent off "Forza Motorsport 5" and "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition," through the Xbox Store starting immediately.

Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity bundle for $329. This includes the Xbox One console (with wireless controller, chat headset and HDMI cable) plus download tokens for two games: "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag." It will be available from Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft retail stores, Target (which will also include a $50 Target gift card), Toys R Us, and Wal-Mart.

Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity bundle with Kinect for $429. This includes the Xbox One console and Kinect (with wireless controller, chat headset and HDMI cable) plus download tokens for two games: "Assassins' Creed Unity" and "Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag." It will be available from Best Buy (with an additional free controller), and Microsoft retail stores (plus a free game from a selection of Black Friday deals).

Xbox One with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" for $329. Wal-Mart will be offering the Xbox One console (with wireless controller, chat headset and HDMI cable) plus the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" compilation and a $30 Wal-Mart gift card.

There are also some Xbox 360 deals to be had:

Xbox 360 500GB console for $199 at GameStop.

$50 off any Xbox 360 console, plus the game of your choice at Microsoft retail stores.

Xbox 360 4GB console with Kinect for $179 at Target.

Xbox 360 4GB console for $99 at Walmart.

Finally, Microsoft will also be offering a discount on 3-month and 12-month Xbox Live Gold memberships. A 3-month Xbox Live Gold subscription will cost $14.99 (normally $24.99), and a 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription will cost $49.99 (normally $59.99).

Confused? You're not alone, and I'm sure I'm missing some important deals. So head on over to the Xbox Black Friday web site for the complete story. And be ready to drive to a local retailer on Friday for the best deals.
