Microsoft has confirmed that a comment made by an analyst earlier this week was misinformed. Microsoft will be charging customers for the next version of Windows 95--code-named "Memphis"--just as they do for the current version. Also, the company has not yet decided on a name for the new operating system, contrary to rumors that they have settled on "Windows 98."
