Microsoft is expected to announce new partnerships and 3D technologies atthis week's "World Movers VRML 2.0 Developers Conference" in San Francisco.Microsoft will announce a licensing deal with Intervista Software that willintegrate the Intervista WorldView VRML client into Internet Explorer. Also,Microsoft has licensed the Liquid Reality Viewer from Dimension X. LiquidReality is a Java-based VRML 2.0 tool for building 3D Internet applications.Beta versions of both products will be released this week. In a related development, Microsoft will hand over its implementation ofVRML 2.0 to the VRML Consortium. Microsoft reference implementation will beused by VRML developers to create their own applications
