Microsoft to introduce Windows 98 Critical Update

Microsoft Corporation will enhance its Windows 98 "Windows Update" feature,a Web-based method of getting patches, new features, and updates to usersof the popular operating system, with a new "Windows Critical Update." Thisnew Web site will allow registered users to have their system automaticallyconnect to the Microsoft site and download the latest critical patches andupdates. This way, new security bugs can be attacked as quickly as possiblewithout forcing the user to manually check a Web site every day
