Microsoft releases Site Server 3.0

Microsoft Corporation on Monday released Site Server 3.0, the latest version of its suite of Internet server applications. Site Server 3.0 centers around Commerce Server 3.0, Microsoft's E-commerce solution.

New features in Site Server 3.0 include Verifone Internet payment softwareand a new Advertisement server. It will be bundled with BackOffice 4.0 andsold separately as an add-in for Internet Information Server 4.0, thecompany's Web server.
